The Lateral Partner Recruitment & Integration Coordinator provides support to the Lateral Partner Recruitment & Integration team for the Americas. The Coordinator will have nationwide responsibility for all functions associated with the partner recruitment process, such as scheduling interviews, preparing candidate voting materials for leadership, orientation schedules, and maintaining candidate files.

Job Description:

  • Provide support to the Lateral Partner Recruitment & Integration Team to execute partner recruiting strategies for the firm, including but not limited to:
  • Market research
  • Maintaining recruiting databases
  • Updating lateral tracking spreadsheets
  • Coordinating in-office interview schedules for partner candidates and internal interviewers; distributing recruiting materials to prospective lateral candidates and sending candidate briefing materials to interviewers
  • Communicate with search firms regarding candidate status and scheduling
  • Assist with the preparation of nomination papers and gathering the supporting materials for vote
  • Coordinate the onboarding and integration of new lateral partners/counsel, including, but not limited to:
  • Preparing orientation schedules for US partners/counsel
  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings for new partners/counsel during integration
  • Generating reports
  • Prepare candidate correspondence as needed
  • Conduct statistical analysis of internal candidates and recruiting trends
  • Liaise with other firm departments on partner recruitment and integration efforts
  • Maintain candidate files

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with lawyers, Business Services employees, search firm personnel, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work well with others at all levels and to gain the confidence of professionals at all levels;
  • Experience working independently, as well as within cross-functional teams, in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong adherence and sensitivity to confidential matters and materials;
  • Excellent organization and attention-to-detail;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, and sometimes non-structured, environment;
  • Ability to prioritize, be flexible, and juggle multiple tasks and projects and perform well under pressure
  • Highly responsive with a strong sense of time management and the ability to meet deadlines efficiently and effectively;
  • Ability to solve problems and demonstrate resourcefulness;
  • Demonstrates dedication to producing quality work product;

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Two (2)+ years of recruiting experience in a law firm, preferably with experience supporting lateral hiring; and
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Hours:

Core hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., including one hour for lunch. Must be flexible for overtime and work outside of normal business hours, as needed.

The job description sets forth the authorities and responsibilities of this position and may be changed from time to time as shall be deemed. 

The annualized salary range for this position is $70,000 to $89,00000 depending on the candidate's overall experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. In addition, full time employees as well as some part time employees, will be eligible for the firm’s fringe benefits as they currently exists.
