About the Role

Uber's vision of igniting opportunities everywhere and for everyone is only realized if customers in our marketplace can seamlessly pay for services on our platform, and we, in turn, can pay our partners. The Uber Money team is an integral and crucial part of realizing that vision. Money is a sensitive topic for every interaction on our marketplaces. Our mission is to ensure the experience of paying and being paid is as seamless, personal, and ubiquitous as possible. As a PM on the Uber Money Platform team, you'll be responsible for helping shape this experience, thus impacting the business growth and engagement!

Uber’s Money Movement platform is a ledger that orchestrates the movement of money between all users on our marketplaces (riders, drivers, couriers, restaurants, eaters, shippers, carriers, etc.), processing orders at the scale of 10s of millions per day. Being the core engine behind offering any service on the marketplace, it’s essential to ensure the platform is reliable enough to handle the scale of our operations while versatile and flexible enough to handle the varying use cases we offer through our different Lines of Business!

  • Build functionality that spans multiple product lines while thinking of global solutions. The role demands both, seeing the big picture and identifying strategically meaningful problems, as well as the ability to investigate opportunities for significant product changes that are a business enabler and engagement driver.
