SKIMS is a solutions-oriented brand creating the next-generation of underwear, loungewear, and shapewear.

We set new standards with our game-changing product and are a driving force within pop-culture. We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join us in advancing the industry forward. 

Role Overview:

  • Reporting to our Senior Graphic Designer, the Junior Graphic Designer will design within an established brand identity system, while pushing the direction forward. Projects include designing marketing emails and printed material for online and retail stores.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with creative team to articulate and execute design for SKIMS
  • Assist in photography selection for new product launches and campaigns.
  • Assist with photo retouching and color corrections.
  • Assist with creation of swatches for e-commerce product page.
  • Create web graphics and marketing collateral consistent with our brand image for online and retail stores. This includes website splash pages, banners, digital ads, postcards, retail packaging, and other physical assets.
  • Create coding to upload headers, footers, and homepage graphics within our e-commerce platform.
  • Assist with designing fashion-forward weekly email campaigns with a strong brand identity to drive direct response.
  • Work with creative team on larger retail projects

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Graphic Designer.
  • Previous experience at an agency or high end fashion brand preferred.
  • A creative portfolio that features typography work and creative branding projects.
  • Must have a design talent, including detailed sense of typography, photography, and design layout.
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and the capabilities of web browsers and UX.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, best practices, and procedures for direct marketing.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed.
  • Takes direction and constructive critiques well while also having the ability to work autonomously and provide self-direction when needed.
  • Able to work within SKIMS standard templates and be able to alter and rework them as necessary.
  • Resourceful, can-do attitude that thrives in a fast paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of best practices in user interface design, and special design considerations for advertising, and e-commerce elements.
  • High energy and positive attitude.
  • Proficient Adobe skills

$70,000.00 - $75,000.00 a year
