About the Role

For our Consolidation & Reporting department based in Zug, Switzerland, we are looking for a Consolidation & Financial Reporting Controller. You will support the preparation of the Group consolidated accounts on a monthly basis for internal purposes and quarterly for external purposes including the contribution to the Half year and Annual reports, providing your expertise to various accounting and consolidation matters in collaboration with Group Corporate functions such as Tax and Treasury and our Countries worldwide.

You will be given the opportunity to work in a truly international environment and build a direct relationship with several countries for whom you will act as a corporate reporting responsible.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Take responsibility for a group of countries and assist them in the area of accounting and reporting 
  • Review their financial reporting packages during monthly, quarterly and annual closings 
  • Support the timely and accurate recording and reporting of significant events and transactions in the Group financial statements in compliance with IFRS Standards
  • Establish a strong relationship with Corporate Functions to support them with accounting related questions
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting analysis to support informed decision-making and participate in other special projects for Group ExCo / Area Management and Senior Management
  • Participate in the preparation of all external publications (Integrated Annual Report, Half-Year Report, Media Releases and Analysts Presentations)
  • Provides technical support and training to countries and corporate functions when needed
  • Ensure strict compliance with internal controls over financial reporting (ICS) to maintain the highest standards of financial integrity and transparency
  • Global audit PMO: Ensure the smooth execution of the Group and Statutory Audits and responsible for gathering information in order to enable the negotiation on audit fees and ensure the continuous improvement of the external audit process
  • Lead the Bonus calculation process

YOUR PROFILE

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (CPA or equivalent designation is often preferred).
  • Preferably around 5 years‘ experience in external audit, consultant firms or in the reporting department of an international Group
  • English as base working language. Additional languages highly appreciated (German considered as a plus)
