We are looking for ambitious candidates who are able to take ownership and who are seeking long-term development opportunities in a challenging

environment. Candidates with experience and expertise in different aspects of ESG – including but not limited to climate change – will be considered.

Job responsibilities:

  • Conducting market research to understand key ESG trends in business, develop strategic view on ESG development and contribute to ESG thought leadership
  • Supporting clients in setting and operationalizing their ESG strategies, defining KPIs and frameworks for measuring and monitoring their impacts on the environment, society and economy
  • Conducting ESG readiness assessments and due diligence for businesses, portfolios, and projects
  • Contributing – as an expert in ESG – to broader opportunities and assignments in other areas, including the identification and analysis of key ESG risks and opportunities, and demonstrating how they can be mainstreamed
  • Supporting business developments to further expand our ESG-related services
  • Managing a team of junior colleagues on daily basis
  • Communicating with the decision makers of our clients (including governments, international agencies, industrial groups, banks, private equity companies, shareholders, and investors)
  • Work closely with senior colleagues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field.
  • A Master’s degree or professional certifications in sustainability or ESG would be a plus
  • At least 3-4 years of professional experience within scientific, engineering field, energy and power and/or other industry sectors or consulting with the focus on ESG
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience as an in-charge / senior / team lead
  • Experience in sustainable/green finance will be an asset (e.g. structuring green bonds)
  • Certificate in ESG areas (e.g., GRI, CFA in ESG investments) would be a strong plus
  • Understanding of global trends, agendas, ESG frameworks, standards, and regulatory environments
  • Sharp analytical, problem-solving, strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching and presentation skills (incl. PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Russian – fluent, English – advanced/fluent (both oral and written)
  • Candidate needs to be adaptable, detail oriented, able to manage projects independently and ethically and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team
