Associate Field Service Robotics Technician

In this position, you will provide technical support for ABB Customer Service in Robotics in Madrid, Andalucia, area, delivering superior, professional service, remotely or on-site. Your hands-on experience and knowledge of customer needs will help you not only to build strong customer relationships, but also to actively identify and develop new business opportunities. This position is not graded yet as the country still hasn´t gone through the phase 4 of Global Grading process.

Your responsibilities

  • Providing remote or on-site technical support for customers
  • Exceeding customer expectations by appreciating and anticipating current and potential needs
  • Troubleshooting potential equipment failures and proactively taking measures to offset/prevent and inform internal partners
  • Coordinating logistics of resources and spare parts for all site Service jobs
  • Suggesting product and process improvements within the business to enhance operations and customer service

Your background

  • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance task, commissioning and programing task
  • Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing of Arc Welding, Spot Welding Material handling and painting knowledge
  • Knowledge of SAP, Office, Salesforce
  • Ability to travel to Spain and Europe basically.
  • PLC Knowledge
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
  • A vocational training in Electrical or electronic.
  • Works 24/7 with the team
  • First certificate English or higher
  • Current driver license and car available valid in Spain
