JD – Chassis-Testing and Fixtures

Job Description:

• Design, development, and support for the Chassis Fixtures for passenger cars
• Experience in Design and development of Chassis components and design of Jigs and Fixtures
• Support for drawings, DMU packaging ,release parts and assemblies
• Experience in OEMs is preferred
• Smooth deliver of the assigned tasks
• Timely and transparent customer interaction for engineering feasibility
• Active support as and when required at the team and department level
• Support for the MBRDI in house activities, MRMs and Presentations
• Seamless integration with the Team in India & Germany
• Assist team leader to achieve company goals / objectives
• When required execute any other task assigned by Superiors

Skill Requirement:

• Knowledge in Chassis components and aggregate design like Axles, suspension , Steering and Brakes and Fixtures etc.
• Broad knowledge understanding of NVH, Ride & Handling and durability requirements related to Chassis components.
• Knowledge on Vehicle packaging, kinematics, Chassis components, fixture testing & Vehicle testing.
• Knowledge on manufacturing process like Sheet metal, Casting and Forging.
• Knowledge of chassis kinematic simulation
• Knowledge of Chassis testing requirements
• UG NX tool : Strong in Part Design, assembly design, DMU, Kinematic design, Drawing & Team Centre
• Well versed in component design process and engineering calculations
• Know-how of the field issues and resolutions
• Strong competency for design review and new ideas
• Awareness of the design standards local and international
• Must be well versed with the Drawing standards, Data Management, Release management and Co-Ordination
• Design and development of Brake parts with Supplier interaction.
• Knowledge of GD & T.
• Good understanding of Intercultural work management
• German language desired
