  • Create industry leading work that influences and inspires The Trade Desk’s visual brand identity and delivers a superior brand/customer experience across a variety of media (advertising, experiential, web, social, and video).
  • Partner with our Brand, Product Marketing, Campaign, Research, Digital, Content, Social, and Events teams to concept and execute work, including digital and video advertising, paid/organic social media content, event branding, video/photo-based projects, and landing pages.

  • Design and develop digital experiences for our corporate website, campaign landing pages, and other web properties managed by The Trade Desk.
  • Produce live action to animation-based video content that either helps us build brand awareness, product marketing, or provides industry education for both our internal/external audiences. This will include pre-production (concepting, storyboarding), on set (art direction) and post-production (editing, shaping narrative).

Who you are:

  • 10 years of experience focused on developing creative work at an agency or in-house for an established global B2B, B2C brand, or equivalent freelance experience. With at least 4 of those years leading/concepting projects and working with senior leadership.
  • A “creative Swiss army knife” and “design guru” with an impressive portfolio that exhibits a balance of your conceptual approach and technical strengths in a range of projects including brand identity work, digital advertising, web design, event branding, social media marketing, and video content.
  • Comfort and experience in partnering with a copywriter, collaborating with other designers, and working with editors and producers.
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suites (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
  • A complete understanding of typography, composition, hierarchy, and color balance, with in-depth knowledge of design principles and best practices.
  • Management experience is a plus.
  • Motion graphics experience is a plus.
  • UX experience, and/or working with a web developer is a plus.
  • On set art direction experience is a plus (for video/photo shoots).
  • Creative thinker, continual learner, proactive problem-solver, and detail oriented.
  • Proven project management skills with ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
