The International Mission Board, a nonprofit religious organization in Richmond, VA, is hiring for a Web Product Manager!

Location: Richmond, VA Headquarters (hybrid after training period)

The Web Product Manager will set the vision, roadmap, and direction for IMB.org in collaboration with multiple departments and other internal stakeholders. This role will lead the planning, scoping, and prioritization of projects to achieve goals and foster an environment that enables the team to build quickly while maintaining a high standard for quality and alignment with the SBC.

Responsibilities:

  • Builds and maintains the content strategy and platform In conjunction with communication and marketing leadership. Collaborates with SEO and content specialists, UI/UX specialists, email marketing manager, ecommerce manager, social media specialists, writers, designers, editors, photographers, and video producers to create content to fulfill strategic creative outcomes. Posts content on IMB website(s).
  • Will be responsible for determining features; writing product specs; organizing user studies; improving feedback; managing the backlog; and delivering completed products across IMB.org, including the experience of the e-commerce store.
  • Serves as the in-house expert on IMB websites. Builds and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders across IMB office teams to strategize the best use of IMB website(s) to meet each team’s goals.
  • Reviews pages owned by stakeholders to ensure accuracy. Maintains awareness of best practices. Use data analysis to improve features and inspire new product ideas. Reports analytics to stakeholders. Strategizes opportunities to expand IMB’s reach to its audiences.
  • Serves as the primary contact with Web experts and contractors who maintain IMB’s Web presence. Responsible for scheduling and facilitating regular maintenance and improvements to IMB website(s). Develop new digital products and/or enhancements to existing IMB.org pages that reflect market and user requirements. Conducts research and develops a good understanding of the customer's needs, new technologies, trends in the market, and competitors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Communications, or related field preferred
  • At least 5 years of applicable experience including software product management and web development
  • Proven experience with Wordpress, Google Analytics 4, and Google Tag Manager
  • Experiences defining and analyzing metrics that inform success and opportunities for optimization. Ability to identify obstacles and viable solutions.
  • Understanding of IMB and SBC culture and constituency
  • Effective collaborative and influencing skills are required
  • Experience serving international customers and an understanding of the complexities of localization, preferred
