Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Unit Secretary to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for each individual that walks through our doors. This person is responsible for assisting while providing exceptional care to patients with a variety of medical conditions.
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, and with supervision from the Charge Nurse or the Registered Nurse, the Unit Secretary is responsible for coordinating patient flow on the unit; processing patient orders; preparing and disassembling patient charts, preparing forms and documents required for patient care; communicating unit-related and/or patient-related needs to other departments and healthcare team members; requesting and obtaining supplies and equipment; answering the phone and greeting visitors; providing clerical support to the unit, and other duties as required.
