As the Director of Sales Enablement at InvoiceCloud, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the performance of our sales teams through strategic enablement initiatives and cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Product, HR, and other key functions. Reporting directly to the SVP of Operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs, tools, and resources that empower our sales force to achieve their targets and drive revenue growth.

As a key member of the Enterprise Operations organization, you will serve as a business and strategic partner to the sales and operations teams to ensure strategic alignment and execution on qualification methods and selling methodologies using proven industry best practices and measures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership and analytical insight into industry selling best practices; be the go-to from the sales organization for selling guidance.
  • Provide leadership and vision for the enablement function.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive sales training programs for onboarding and ongoing skill development.
  • Create and curate sales collateral, playbooks, and tools that enhance the effectiveness of the sales team working closely with product, marketing, and other departments.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop compelling sales content and messaging.
  • Ensure alignment between product/marketing materials and the needs of the sales team.
  • Analyze and refine the sales process to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement sales methodologies that align with company objectives.

  • Measure and report on key metrics and measurements for success in the function while holding non-enablement functions accountable for their influence on these metrics.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • 8+ years of experience in sales enablement or a related field.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful sales enablement programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across various departments.
  • Ability to pragmatically solve difficult problems with data-driven decision-making.
  • Self-driven and comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty
  • No prior industry experience needed but certainly welcome and highly valued.
  • Comfortable working with multiple remote teams
  • Resource should be a self-starter, and self-managed.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, prioritizing agility, and willingness to act.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Familiarity with sales metrics and key performance indicators.
