Role Purpose

  1. The Business Process & Solutions Analyst Jr. is responsible to help businesses implement technology solutions in a cost- effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program. Combines insurance business knowledge, process, and data analysis, to translate business requirements into system deployments and/or business process changes. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and conduct business process improvement projects. 
  • Work with functional unit management and personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.
  • Act as a liaison between end-user and technical staff. 
  • Participate in the analysis, design, configuration and testing of systems to ensure optimal operational performance.
  • Develop requirements for new systems or enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users.
  • Analyze processes and /or operating areas where specific issues or items need to be corrected, examined or improved. 
  • Analyze reports and documents trends.
  • Assists with other work-related duties and projects as necessary.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration. 
  • Knowledge in Project Management methodologies. 
  • Analytical and problem solving skills. 
  • Excellent mathematical skills. 
  • Proficient in Power BI or related reporting applications, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Macros) and working knowledge of common application software. 
  • Advance knowledge of database management tools. 

Experience

  • One to Three (1-3) years of experience. Insurance Industry, preferable. 
  • Experience in product development automation, quoting and insurance automation, documentation and system implementation.
