Global Corporate Services – Program Management & Business Analytics, Associate

Job Description:

The Global Corporate Services (GCS) team at Blackstone services all offices and lines of businesses across the firm. The team delivers services associated with Facilities, Office Services, Construction, Real Estate, Physical Records, Expense Management, Corporate Cards, Corporate Travel, Internal Events Venue Management, Hospitality Services and Travel Duty of Care. We are seeking a full-time employee at our New York office to join the Program Management Office (PMO) for the Global Corporate Services groups.

The Associate will provide project management, operational and analytical support for initiatives and projects. They will work with the PMO lead with an emphasis on dynamic collaboration, critical thinking, project strategy and execution management. The candidate will possess an organized and analytical approach to problem solving and process reorientation.

Key Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Demonstrate a highly motivated, intelligent and pragmatic work ethic that has yielded excellence in prior endeavors
  • Act as project implementation lead on numerous projects to drive initiatives from inception to completion, including developing project strategy, execution framework and communication to stakeholders
  • Partner with communications team on GCS content creation across newsletters, agendas, user guides, engagement sessions and email announcements
  • Management reporting and financial planning & analysis, including the annual budget process and analyzing & reporting key metrics
  • Preparing ad hoc analysis and presentations requested by senior management
  • Strong, dynamic collaboration across internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in creating and presenting strategy decks outlining key firm initiatives, roadmaps, & playbooks
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and special projects in support of the Firm’s business as needed

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have:

  • 4+ years prior experience in the financial services industry or related experience
  • Completed undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar with a strong academic record
  • Self motivated and a team-oriented individual who can thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Results-oriented with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • A desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment with a positive attitude
  • Relationship building skills with internal and external counterparties
  • Strong work ethic; passion for excellence
  • Personal and professional integrity
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau or Sigma a plus
  • Strong communication skills and feels comfortable interacting with all levels of staff
  • Quick learner and ability to quickly turn around ad-hoc requests

Expected annual base salary range:

$100,000 - $140,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
