Aiming to create the future of LG with the focus on disruptive and exponential growth, LG NOVA works with global corporations, startups, governments, and technology stakeholders to create new businesses, establish strategic partnerships, and develop a broad ecosystem using the process of “outside-in” innovation.

Job Description:

As a UX Designer on our healthcare innovation team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and make a significant impact in the healthcare industry. You will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, including product managers, developers, and healthcare experts, to create innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes and enhance the healthcare experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research to understand the needs and pain points of healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user requirements into intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate the intended user experience.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve the designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in UX design and healthcare technology.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure that the user's perspective is considered throughout the product development process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • At least 4+ years of proven experience as a UX Designer.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing mobile and web design projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on healthcare/digital health related projects.
  • Knowledge of design thinking methodologies and the ability to apply them to solve complex problems.
  • Startup experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Please Note: This contract position is not with LG Electronics but with a startup that is supported by LG NOVA. We expect this contract to last around 6 months with the potential to move to a full-time position with the startup.

Compensation: please note the compensation range provided is flexible and dependent on other factors including the experience level, location, etc.
