Position Summary

CVS Health is seeking a Sr. Analyst to join our team! In this role as Sr Analyst – Strategic Planning HCB FP&A business, you will report to the Senior Manager of Strategic Planning HCB FP&A. You will be responsible for consolidating, reporting and the creation of management presentations and or talking points for Strategic Planning / Goodwill Support for HCB. This role will work closely with HCB FP&A COE leads to ensure that the reporting of Strategic Plan aligns with HCB Long Term growth expectations and that the appropriate level of information is given to senior leadership.

The successful candidate should exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to consolidate/report results to business partners and management. This individual will be expected to be able to multi-task and prioritize multiple activities and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, with ability to work independently within guidance frame defined by management – includes financial reporting/analysis at both regular and ad hoc frequencies and building and reporting analytics via PowerPoint presentations. We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of financial/corporate budgeting, forecasting, consolidating results and financial reporting.

  • Assists Sr. Manager in the consolidation of the Strategic Planning and/or analysis of projects of varying nature and complexity which may include: financial metrics, process improvement initiatives, etc
  • Coordinate Hyperion close, financial reconciliations between S4 & Hyperion systems for Forecast & Budget
  • Technical knowledge of financial systems (Hyperion, S4, etc..)
  • Leverage strong financial modeling skills (Excel and advanced functions like Macros, Index Match etc)
  • Assist in the development of ad-hoc analyses
  • Leverage strong communication and presentation skills
  • Continuous process improvement and leveraging of technology
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience with financial systems (Hyperion, S4, etc)
  • 2+ years experience developing reporting and consolidating results to business partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of financial systems (Hyperion, S4, etc)
  • Ability to understand complex financial concepts and perform detailed analysis
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate with business partners, primarily internal constituents

Education

  • Bachelors degree required or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $107,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
