In this role, you’re expected to:

• Responsible for trade pre-matching / settlement in Global markets, including APAC
• Liaise with agent banks, brokers, sales and trading desk, customer's back office to follow up any potential fails prior to settlement date
• Minimize risk to the bank by monitoring errors and suggesting solutions that reduce errors, and ensure adherence to audit and control policies
• Identify policy gaps and propose efforts to streamline the securities and derivatives settlement processes
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of how the team collaborates with other areas in accomplishing assigned tasks

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting, or Finance is preferred
• Minimum 2 year experience in settlement operation in global markets
• Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies
• Effective communication skills and good written and spoken English;
• Willing to learn and able to work under high pressure
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
