About the Role

The Design team at Cato Networks is looking for an exceptional product designer who's looking to jump on a rocket ship and take a core role in defining and driving the future of our products!

  • Experienced at balancing long-term design goals with an Agile-based iterative approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research to discover insights, define user personas, and map user journeys.
  • Develop lo-fi/hi-fi mockups and prototypes to articulate interaction design effectively.
  • Communicate and build consensus around all aspects of the design direction.
  • Understand the array of technical constraints, user goals and business requirements.
  • Use data analysis to improve the customer experience.
  • Iterate through design feedback from internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Facilitate usability testing and other UX methodologies.
  • Optimize features based on analysis of the competing solutions.
  • Collaborate and work closely with PM team, RnD, other product designers and upper management.

Skills & Background

  • 5+ years’ experience as a UX designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role.
  • Education qualification in human-computer interaction, visual design, industrial design or highly related field
  • Background in user research and data research.
  • Experience working on complex products and systems.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (experience with Figma).
  • Good sense for visual aesthetics and familiarity with the latest UI design trends.
  • Advantage: experience with cyber security or network products

Strong portfolio is critical to interview for this role. It should demonstrate your work experience, creative thinking, visual design skills, design process, UX flows and interaction patterns.
