VCA Staten Island Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our tenured DVM team in Staten Island, New York.

VCA takes pride in expanding the growth and skill set of new veterinarians. We welcome newly graduated veterinarians (and current veterinary students) to apply to this position where they will receive individualized support with our 6-month mentorship program and a collaborative hospital team environment.

Our hospital is equipped with:

  • O2 cage with climate control
  • A defibrillator
  • Portable ultrasound
  • Digital radiographs
  • Digital dental radiographs

Our surgery suite makes our hospital very unique! There are 2 procedure rooms with surgical preparation outside of the rooms. We have a well-ventilated isolation room, adjustable exam room tables, large spacious waiting room and parking available. We offer wellness plans for every age as well as home delivery for prescriptions and foods through our hospital. Our team are uniquely talented individuals that are energetic, supportive, and family oriented. Individuals that are looking to grow further in veterinary medicine. We accept pre-vet students and have rotating externships for future LVTs.

We are a general practice hospital that is open to our community 5 days a week. We are searching for a full time or part time veterinarian. Relief veterinarians are always welcomed. 

In our community we are located in the heart of New Dorp in Staten Island. We are close to shopping malls, restaurants, the beach and transportation such as the SIRR and MTA buses. There are different grade schools surrounding us. There are 3 diverse bridges to commute through as well as the Staten Island Ferry to travel to our area.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $150K - $180K. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
