The section Business Solutions – Asset Management delivers value to the business area Asset Management through the execution of transformation projects, application development, management of IT products, and consulting.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated IT Product Manager for core asset and investment management applications, esp. in the Back Office area. Your main focus will be on the development and operation of SimCorp Dimension (SCD) and various applications in Liquid Asset Management while utilizing a high level of corresponding underlying MR IT support structures.

Your job

  • Close collaboration with the Business Product Owner in a shared responsibilities model
  • Managing business requirements and consulting business to fulfill business strategy, using market and technical innovation knowledge
  • Developing, customizing and maintaining the Core Application SimCorp Dimension (SCD), ideally expert in front and back performance module, Crystal Reports and additional applications in the Asset Management environment
  • Being overall responsible for the whole service life-cycle for the aforementioned products and services (e.g. including the definition of operational processes, KPIs and service level, functional and IT upgrades / releases, housekeeping, …)
  • Planning and aligning product roadmap with business on basis of target architecture, including necessary technical and security refactoring
  • Initiating projects or conducting implementation of change requests, planning and executing product releases, conducting sign-off procedures
  • Handling the secure (e.g. through additional VAPT-Testing) and stable (e.g. additional DR-Testing) run of the product in production
  • Being in charge for the product costs and management of the involved external staff (including procurement and provider management)
  • Engaging the respective MR standard ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change) for the services in your responsibility and usage of Service Now
  • Conducting the quarterly SLA meetings with SLA reporting and consistent monitoring and analysis of the service quality in your responsibility and identification of service optimization potentials
  • Escalating to IT-Management for critical issues

Your profile

  • University degree, preferably in Computer engineering / IT or similar qualification
  • Expert level in SimCorp Dimension (SCD)
  • Strong familiarity with asset and investment management processes
  • Strong customer orientation and customer communication skills, e.g. ability to present complex operation aspects and architectures in a clear and precise way
  • Familiarity with analytical and concept work regarding complex application operation landscapes and architectures
  • IT infrastructure, operation, development and technical architecture
  • Strong assertiveness, self-organized and proactive attitude
  • Strong target-orientation and willingness to learn
  • Strong planning, organizational and negotiation skills as well as good mediator skills
  • Fluent command of Business English
