Job Summary:

As a Web DevOps Engineer at CooperSurgical Inc., you will play an integral role in enhancing our web infrastructure and operations, with a special focus on Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, AWS, and CRM integrations. Your responsibilities will include implementing and managing continuous delivery systems, automating and optimizing our processes on various cloud platforms, and ensuring robust integration with our CRM systems. This role requires close collaboration with development and IT teams to ensure seamless, efficient, and secure operations of our web platforms.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities:

  • Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, with proficiency in Azure DevOps and AWS.
  • Automating deployment, scaling, and management of applications across different cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of web applications.
  • Collaborating with software development teams for optimizing web deployment and operations.
  • Managing cloud infrastructure, focusing on Azure and AWS services.
  • Integrating web applications with CRM systems, ensuring seamless data flow and operations.
  • Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, with an emphasis on security and scalability.
  • Monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting web applications, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.
  • Participating in the development and support of critical production systems.
  • As business needs dictate, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime.

Travel: 

This position is available remotely, with occasional travel to the Los Angeles, CA or Trumbull, CT or other remote possibly international locations up to 10% of the year.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong experience in Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, and AWS.
  • Expertise in CI/CD methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services.
  • Experience with CRM integration and management.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Understanding of web application architectures and web server technologies.
  • Effective collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Knowledge in managing SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of network architecture and security protocols.
  • Skills in log management and analysis tools.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, software development, or system administration, with a focus on web technologies and cloud platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale web applications and cloud environments.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $94,000- $125,000. The actual base pay includes many factors, and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
