The Role Responsibilities

Responsible for managing both Retail Liabilities & Mortgage products to deliver the set target with adherence to policy and compliance aspects to ensure business growth and sustainability.

Strategy

  • As a BPM supporting the Head of Retail Products & Personal Segment, CPBB Indonesia, the successful candidate will be responsible for
  • Business and strategic planning, market competitive study and communication
  • Manage RPS & Personal Segment budget and cost to support operations & technology production and change programs
  • Provide governance oversight on operational and information & cyber security change to ensure operational readiness and resilience, adherence to group and local policies/procedures/standards, and compliance with local regulations
  • Explore the opportunities of synergy and collaboration across functions, stakeholders, cross-market operational innovations and best practice sharing

Business

  • Assist country Head of Retail Products & Personal Segment, CPBB Indonesia to lead the development of business strategy and develop consolidated country operations strategy ensuring effective co-ordination between business, functions and regional. 

Processes

  • Assist country Head of Retail Products & Personal Segment, CPBB Indonesia to ensure all processes across the country are followed in line with approved policies and procedures, and local regulations. 

People & Talent

  • Assist Head of Retail Products & Personal Segment, CPBB Indonesia to ensure an integrated approach to people and talent management across TW COO families as appropriate
  • Assist Head of Retail Products & Personal Segment, CPBB Indonesia for driving employee engagement throughout the country
  • Working with Head of Retail Products & Personal Segment, CPBB Indonesia to ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people, and effective supervision are in place to mitigate people risks

Risk Management

  • Assist Head of Retail Products & Personal Segment, CPBB Indonesia to ensure all material risks, including all risk types which affect country franchise are properly monitored, managed and where necessary escalated to appropriate individuals and relevant committees
  • Working with Head of Retail Products & Personal Segment, CPBB Indonesia to anticipate risks and issues likely to have material impact on the operations within the country and seek to manage or mitigate such risks and issues
  • Working with key stakeholders to protect and enhance reputation and image in the country

Governance 

  • Assist Head of Retail Products & Personal Segment, CPBB Indonesia to provide oversight over country operations, ensuring compliance with highest standards of regulatory conduct and compliance practices as defined by internal and external requirements
  • Take personal responsibility for understanding the risk and compliance requirement of the role. Understand and comply with, all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering and terrorist financing and sanctions.
  • Assist Head of Retail Products & Personal Segment, CPBB Indonesia to ensure applicable regulatory limits are managed effectively to support execution of country strategy and business plans
  • Assist Head of Retail Products & Personal Segment, CPBB Indonesia to implement and maintain robust structure to support effective corporate governance
  • Working with Head of Retail Products & Personal Segment, CPBB Indonesia to ensure appropriate conduct of business and clients are treated fairly through effective policies and controls, robust staff training and appropriate operational activities and transparent communication.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
