As a Service Engineer, you will execute service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. You will be in close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams, acting as the technical point while delivering quality and satisfying customer service. In this role you will be responsible for providing routine maintenance and on-site or remote technical support. The position involves approximately days of travel, as you will be providing hands-on assistance at customer sites.

Your responsibilities

  • Perform site installation, testing & commissioning of MV/LV or HV products,
  • Experience in protection relays, medium voltage (MV), low voltage (LV), high voltage (HV), GIS panels, AIS panels, IEC
  • 61850 / Scada / Goose,
  • Perform other field service activities including troubleshooting, repairing, maintenance, replacement applications for MV/LV or HV products,
  • Perform service works according to ABB’s technical, commercial and health & safety standards,
  • Perform trainings to customer at site and at ABB facilities,
  • Prepare the service reports and records that are necessary for the quality of service,
  • Prepare the tools and equipment that are related to the jobs on the to-do list,
  • Provide the maintenance of the service tools and keep the test tools in working condition,
  • Ensure customer satisfaction during / after deliveries.

Your background

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering,
  • At least 2 years of experience in MV/LV or HV products,
  • Good command of written English and intermediate/upper intermediate level of spoken English,
  • Team worker, analytical, communicate effectively and customer oriented,
  • Strong planning and organizational skills,
  • Ability to travel frequently.
