About the job:

This role is an integral part of the Sales team in helping the team achieve its business objectives. Key responsibility includes direct selling to hospital accounts and assisting dealers in Taiwan to implement sales activities and achieve budgets. This role will also require gaining fundamental knowledge of Stryker products and surgical procedures, as well as having the ability to convince customers on our product features and benefits.

What you will be doing:

Capital Sales:

  • Develop and execute Mako sales plans, aligning with Joint Replacement team strategy.
  • Work with senior hospital staff, customer marketing and key surgeons in the development and execution of plan to effectively increase procedural volume at customer sites.
  • Conceptualize with Marketing team promotion strategies for customer education

Mako Account Management:

  • Oversee day to day coordination of accounts and assign necessary tasks to all Mako Product Specialists to support scheduled robotics procedures.
  • Control and optimize total inventory, instrumentation and other team resources to ensure efficient case preparation in the assigned region.
  • Handle and advise on complex technical and clinical cases, lead robot launches in new sites.
  • Represent Stryker at a management level to all levels of HCP, commissioners and managers in their regional health economy
  • Review communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up on FDA complaints and/or service reports, leading to higher customer satisfaction and clinical value
  • Provide surgeons and operating room staff with training and support in the operation of the company’s robotic arm applications to ensure clinical excellency
  • Provide case coverage at other accounts as needed
  • This role requires undergoing trainings to obtain the required certifications in all commercially available Mako applications in the relevant territory

Who are we looking for:

  • Bachelor degree, Master’s degree in business or a related technical field of study is preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of working experience and 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Proven track record of optimal performance in a technical and clinical role
  • Proven ability in the use of data to anticipate problems during procedures and deliver sound decision-making
  • Proven customer service skills that focus on the details, outputs and deliverables that have a strong surgeon customer impact
  • Proven ability in technology systems and administrative procedures (e.g. ERP software, CER workflow, office suite, file processing and record management).
  • Demonstrated ability to independently identify more critical and less critical activities to adjust priorities when appropriate
  • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor others.
