AS A PROJECT ENGINEER, YOU WILL:
- Lead plastic and metal welding projects for customers across a variety of industries including automotive parts, medical devices, electronic components
- Communicate and align with adjacent functions to achieve project goals
- Communicate and coordinate 3rd party collaborate with vendors or construction contractors on commercial as well as technical related project requirements
- Develop and present customer proposals
- Host customer visits to review designs, hold equipment weld trials and production simulation runs, as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent years of experience in customer project management and industrial manufacturing sales processes, including technical consultation and multi-functional collaboration
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Knowledge of manufacturing environment and customer engagement
- Background in plastics, automotive, electronics, or medical device industry
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Access
- Understanding of CRM (Oracle, Salesforce, etc.)
- PMI certification
