The IAM Tech Specialist Engineer will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive solutions to our internal and external customers. This role will have hands-on architectural, engineering and operational responsibilities as well as technical leadership and expert level troubleshooting duties.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement & support highly automated, reliable and available IAM solutions which elevate security and compliance
  • Lead product evaluations and select appropriate solutions for custom and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications
  • Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re successfully achieved
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting, participate in on-call rotation, and develop solutions and processes to eliminate off hours support calls
  • Prior to production, create roadmaps to guide their product from conception through design and into wide release
  • Bridge the gap among the different departments involved in successfully bringing platform changes to market, including technical and non-technical individuals
  • Drive improvements in product adoption, stability and maintenance across the enterprise
  • Work with others to facilitate updates to standards, creation of new standards, and assessment of impact made across the enterprise prior to standard adoption
  • Continually assess current commercial offerings, seeking opportunities for improvements. Analyze consumer needs, current market trends, and ROI forming a build vs. buy perspective.

Skill Requirements:

  • Expertise in products and techniques for automating detection of security issues with accounts and their misuse.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM Governance and security standards.
  • Strong experience in scripting and automation.
  • Easily and consistently gains consensus in challenging working dynamics without the need for guidance or support.
  • Recognized (or can be recognized) by others outside the department/division as a role model and resource for others in one or more IAM competency.
  • Proven ability to perform IAM architecture and product/platform management abilities
  • Advanced skills related to security & quality orientation, optimization of processes and managing an execution environment. Can apply this competency across all situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across a broad range of technologies to deliver complex solutions
  • Succinctly articulates complex technical issues at any organizational level, and with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Knowledge of applicable audit controls and applicability to IAM services architecture, design, and processes.
  • Advanced skills related to security & quality orientation, optimization of processes and managing an execution environment
  • Hands-on experience developing and deploying large-scale enterprise Identity & Access Management solutions

Qualification

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent
  • Security certifications (e.g. Security+, Network+, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP, CEH, etc.)
