Role Overview 

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will take the driver's seat in creating the user interface and experience for our new financial products. Your expertise will be the cornerstone in collaborating with product and technology groups, driving consumer engagement and product adoption to new heights. You will architect and own the entire consumer journey for our products. This includes all outbound messaging through all channels and all user interface design. 

Responsibilities 

  1. Infuse the Patch Values into your work ethic, every day and every interaction. 
  2. Design and develop UI/UX solutions that captivate and engage. 
  3. Drive the creation of user-centric design concepts and interactions that elevate the overall product experience.

  5. Partner with product and tech teams to weave the fabric of an extraordinary user experience. 
  6. Lead the charge from concept to launch, transforming complex systems into intuitive interfaces. 
  7. Craft user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback. 
  8. Create the customer journey experience, including outbound messaging to drive product adoption and engagement. 
  9. Create designs that are as strategically sound as they are visually compelling. 
  10. Develop code and technical prototypes to validate design decisions, showcase novel ideas, and drive discussions within the team, with an intent to create a fast path for new products to GA. 
  11. Work directly with the C-Suite to understand desired outcomes and to facilitate new UX concepts. 
  12. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities to enhance product functionality and user experience. 
  13. Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure that the final product aligns with the intended user experience and design specifications. 
  14. Conduct research to evaluate new tools, frameworks, and methodologies that could positively impact product architecture and design. 
  15. Obsessed with bringing ideas to life – a drive to push ideas into execution to drive revenue. 
  16. Excels in a collaborative environment with ambiguous direction. 
  17. A portfolio that demonstrates a blend of exceptional design aesthetics and technical skill. 
  18. Strong technical foundation with an artist's touch. 
  19. Eagerness to tackle challenges head-on and forge paths where none existed. 
  20. Not afraid to take initiative and try new things. 

Qualifications 

  1. 5+ years of relevant experience in UI/UX design with demonstrable positive outcomes in engagement and adoption 
  2. Best in class communication skills – written, verbal, non-verbal, and presentation. 
  3. Excellent project management skills and ability to finish projects and tasks in a timely manner. 
  4. Tireless work ethic and ability to create complex solutions for high-level initiatives. 
  5. Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S. 
  6. You will be asked to participate in culture-related meetings, activities, and events.   7. Previous experience in the financial or banking software arena is a feather in your cap. 
  8. Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S. 
  9. While we are a remote-first workforce, you may be asked to attend critical meetings or events in person. Travel expenses to and from our headquarters will be paid.

Physical Requirements 

  1. Sitting for extended periods of time; approximately 5-6 hours per day 
  2. Simultaneous use of hand, wrist and fingers 
  3. Daily operation of standard office equipment 
  4. Frequent use of oral communication to perform work 
  5. Lifts and moves up to 20 pounds occasionally
