Oracle HCM Payroll and Global HR Functional-Technical Sr. Analyst

This Sr. Oracle HCM Analyst role will lead the Payroll and Global HR workstreams on the ERP team. This analyst role includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Partner with the business and key stakeholders on the Oracle Payroll Cloud and Oracle Global HR Cloud.
  • Payroll responsibilities include configuring Oracle, supporting payroll processing and uploads, accountable for all Oracle quarterly release payroll items. Also, responsible for integration testing and overall system support.
  • Core HR responsibilities include configuring Oracle for employee and manager self-service configuration, HR workflow transactions, and global HR configuration. Also responsible for integration testing and overall troubleshooting and system support. 

Overall this analyst has the opportunity to play a key role in Oracle Cloud day-to-day work and projects involving strategy, implementation support, and Oracle optimization related to information technology operations, business processes, security, and data integrity for the Payroll and Global HR modules.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Leads strategic initiatives in collaboration with IT and business units for the development, implementation and support of new systems and enhancements. 
  • Acts as strategic business partner to identify, assess and interpret customer needs and objectives to evaluate new applications or enhance existing applications, document and test system requirements.
  • Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures. 
  • Works collaboratively with the development team to configure, maintain and upgrade the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and other related software under general supervision. 
  • Assists with maintaining the security of operating systems. 
  • Provides onsite support to the organization's internal users of ERP applications. 
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience from an accredited institution.
  • Requires 5-7 years of experience in one or both of the following areas:
  • Experience in various business areas and applications (package and custom).
  • Experience implementing or supporting ERP related applications.
  • Requires experience with professional software.
  • Requires project management skills.
  • Requires experience facilitating/leading requirement gathering sessions.
  • Requires experience with process modeling requirements and test plans.
