Main Purpose of Job

The Business Intelligence Architect’s role will be to partner with stakeholders across the Endeavor organization to deliver reporting solutions by participating in requirements gathering, problem solving, defining business process and application changes, solution design, testing, implementation, training and user adoption.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders
  • Translate business goals into appropriate strategies and business requirements
  • Identify and facilitate process changes by conducting business and systems process analysis, focusing on quality improvement and data management
  • Drive the resolution of issues and facilitate successful delivery of system and process changes to satisfy business requirements for effective reporting solutions
  • Provide clear requirements and development plans to the onsite and offshore teams
  • Build dashboards and visualizations to provide data access and insight to the business stakeholders
  • Define, populate, and maintain user groups and user access to relevant reports
  • Assist in user adoption and enablement activities such as delivering training sessions or writing instructional content
  • Support data validation efforts

Knowledge and Experience

Mandatory

  • Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Experience developing and employing functional project artifacts (Use Cases, User Stories, Requirements Definition, Process Definition, User Interface Design, Test Strategy, Test Cases)
  • Experience with interactive visualization development using one or several of the following: Power BI/Report Builder, Tabluea, Python, R/Shiny
  • Experience with SQL and other modern data storage technologies
  • Experience telling a story through data and building visualizations and dashboards that can be interpreted by non-technical audiences

Desirable

  • Experience with Python and Python-based data analysis and manipulation packages

Skills and Abilities

Mandatory

  • BS/MS degree in Business, Operation Research, Economics, Statistics, or related fields
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in the work environment and priorities
  • Ability to manage frequent requirement changes
  • Ability to work independently with minimal Engineering support
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Extensive experience with data visualization tools (Power BI preferred)
  • Proficient in Excel and Power Query
  • Fluent in SQL
  • Working knowledge of DAX
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, ETL tool, data conversion and data cleansing methods
  • Ability to work with large and complex datasets
  • Ability to write clear and thorough business requirements documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Range Minimum:

$82,500 annually

Hiring Range Maximum:

$110,000 annually
