Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Tester / Quality Analyst (QA) to join our dynamic team. As a Salesforce Tester / QA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce platform and related applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues, perform thorough testing, and maintain high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning:

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to define test objectives, scope, and strategy.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional requirements and user stories.
  • Ensure test plans cover all aspects of Salesforce functionality, including customization, integration, and data migration.

2. Test Execution:

  • Execute test cases manually and, if applicable, automate repetitive test scenarios.
  • Identify, document, and prioritize defects, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Perform regression testing to validate fixes and ensure system stability.

3. Test Documentation:

  • Maintain detailed and organized test documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect reports.
  • Create and update test scripts for automated testing (if applicable).
  • Track and report on testing progress and results to project stakeholders.

4. Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on Salesforce updates and best practices to enhance testing strategies.
  • Suggest improvements to the QA process and contribute to the overall quality of Salesforce solutions.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and mentoring activities with the QA team.

5. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Salesforce administrators, developers, and business analysts to understand business processes and requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of Salesforce projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Tester or Quality Analyst with a strong understanding of Salesforce functionality.
  • Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. Apex, Lightning).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Certified App Builder) are a plus.
