A Snapshot of Your Day 

Omnivise T3000 is one of the leading control systems in the energy market. As Siemens Energy own control system it plays an important role in the global energy transition. Product Management is the function responsible for defining desirable, viable, feasible, and sustainable solutions that meet customer needs and supporting development across the product life cycle. Your main tasks as Chief Product Manager within the control system Omnivise T3000 in a multinational team, is being responsible for Omnivise T3000 with the ability to design the control system that will support the energy transition by exploring and gathering qualitative and quantitative insights about market dynamics, user preferences and customer requirements. These insights define both business strategy and technical strategy and produce the feature backlog. 

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Definition of the product and innovation strategy for Omnivise T3000 based on market requirements and the corresponding portfolio vision
  • Steering of a team of product managers responsible for the various sub-products of Omnivise T3000
  • Representation of customer and stakeholder requirements, with responsibility for the related product roadmap, commercialization, and communication for marketing and sales rollout
  • Coordination of multiple requirements through ranking and alignment of activities along the defined development process
  • Coordination across agile teams in collaboration with other Product Managers and Product Owners of the development teams
  • Leadership in establishing Siemens Energy’s Plant Automation Technology roadmap and alignment with relevant stakeholders

What You Bring

  • Experienced professional with more than 10 years of overall experience, minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management (or associated fields) with proven track record
  • Understanding of the energy market and the related implications for control systems combined with critical thinking and a good business insight as a key
  • Tracked communication and leadership skills to align with multinational stakeholders and to plan and coordinate multiple team activities
  • Deep understanding of modern control systems like Omnivise T3000 incl. DCS, PLC, SCADA & Substation automation
  • Solid understanding of the Product Lifecycle Management process as well experience with agile working methods like Scrum, SAFe or others as well Jira knowledge is a benefit
  • Dedicated and intrinsically motivated to take ownership of work

Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
