In this role you will grow, scale and lead a dynamic marketing operation to build value across a diverse client/customer base while driving commercial growth for Marsh McLennan, Mercer and Marsh. The role will report to the Regional Marsh McLennan Marketing and Communications Leader - IMEA

We will count on you to:

  • Drive the vision and execution of a marketing and communications strategy aligned to the sub-region’s commercial priorities and competitively positions Marsh McLennan, Marsh and Mercer to a diverse range of target segments
  • Create and implement innovative multi-channel acquisition strategies and campaigns via strong collaboration with product, sales, and business teams
  • Ensure our brand in the portfolio has an ‘ownable’ positioning strategy and is communicated in a compelling and consistent manner across all channels and touchpoints
  • Through a digital/mobile first lens, develop ‘always on’ digital marketing strategies to drive SEO/SEM, build our digital footprint and create content journeys that connect end consumers with our products/services/capabilities through engagement
  • Own messaging in partnership with the business and Sales to stay ahead of market trends and create a constant feedback loop with our different clients’ needs
  • Deploy marketing automation to ensure scalable and cost-effective marketing operations processes with demonstrable ROI in partnership with global marketing practice
  • Establish a powerful marketing funnel, ensuring leads are qualified for sales follow up through our CRM system
  • Create and maintain an active network of marketing partnerships to enable execution
  • Grow, lead and empower a collaborative team of marketers to create a high-performing, innovative and positive team culture, working with business stakeholders and enterprise-wide marketing to ensure alignment with best practice and an operational model that remains agile and responsive to changing needs
  • Lead a client-first, CX mindset, developing a data-informed position on who current and target clients are, and implementing strategies and tactics that help us acquire and retain valuable relationships
  • Comply with standardized reporting, meet targets and KPIs and provide clear, actionable insights to improve decision-making and prioritization
  • Manage the marketing budget, including allocation of spend to achieve company targets

What you need to have:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in leading, planning and executing multi-channel, multi-segment marketing (experience in the financial services industry is preferred)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence effectively at a senior leadership level regionally and enterprise-wide, developing valued, trusted relationships/partnerships to meet shared commercial outcomes.
  • Advanced subject matter knowledge of traditional and digital marketing including industry-leading MarTech.
  • Experience of managing marketing campaigns across the web and integrating with marketing automation systems including knowledge and experience in SEO and SEM campaigns/techniques, online channels including social media, online video and associated metrics.
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy, impact or efficiency.
  • Innovative mindset, willing to challenge the status quo and move quickly to test and learn new strategies and tactics. This also relates to a level of resourcefulness and proven ability to do more with less.
  • Solid research skills with the ability to stay ahead of current marketing industry trends.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional judgement, ideally gained in a heavily regulated industry - comfortable with a fast-paced environment
  • University degree educated.
