This is a full-time position based in our office in Malvern, PA.

The Program Manager will be responsible for delivering on Product Roadmap initiatives and programs in a fast-paced hybrid project management environment. The successful candidate in this highly visible role will lead programs and projects for connected coffee, cold drink, and snack vending machines with integrated payment systems. Projects will span activities including engineering, product management, content development, marketing, technical operations, design, manufacturing, and more. This position is expected to manage program schedules in a hybrid project management environment, ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost within budget, while managing scope, risks, change control, and communication for the program. The Program Manager will provide leadership for the project teams assigned to the programs and ensure good project management practices are employed throughout the lifecycle of the programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Create project schedules that capture cross-functional involvement and determine the best course of action to ensure project goals are met.
  • Calculate and budget project expenses and capital requirements as needed; track and manage project spend to maintain budget expectations.
  • Identify sources of risk and create mitigation scenarios.
  • Identify methods, procedures, and processes to continuously improve the business.
  • Increase the effectiveness of new product development activities to reduce time to market and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal verticals and functions to optimize products during their development, find solutions for reducing cost, and improving design integrity.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management, cross-functional peers, and the development team.

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering.
  • Experience with self-service ordering, unattended retail (vending machines, coffee machines), hardware, or enterprise software solutions covering any combination of electronic payment acceptance, out-of-home advertising, IoT, SaaS, business integration tools, or business intelligence is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of practical project/program management experience.
  • Ensures consistent visual management of the status for multiple scrum teams including project status, sprint status, milestones, KPIs, etc.
  • Experience working in a hybrid (agile/waterfall) project management environment is strongly preferred.
  • Scrum Alliance CSM / CSP certification.
  • Experience working with on/offshore product development teams.
  • Experience working with international teams across time zones and cultures.
  • Relentless focus on improving personal and team results while supporting organizational goals and objectives.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, oral, and written communications skills.
  • Proficiency with salesforce.com, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel 25%-50%, including internationally as needed.

  • Knowledge of program assessment methods and experience application of key performance metrics to track and drive results.
  • Experience working with stakeholder requirements and effectively managing the expectations of stakeholders.
  • Experience with different negotiation strategies.
  • Track record of learning from experience and appropriately applying what has been learned in the past and present; demonstrated critical thinking skills – actively and skillfully conceptualizes, applies, analyzes, synthesizes, and/or evaluates information gathered from, or generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to belief and action.

  • Demonstrated experience with project scoping and definition.
