RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION 

Key Responsibilities on Tax Areas:

• Timely resolution of Tax related Global issues integrating tax calculations within our Tax software applications (OSD - Sabrix and SAP) – For North America, LATAM Regions And SAP issues for EMEA and India GST
• Should have worked on OSD (Sabrix) Tax application and interfacing to SAP.
• Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the IT environment, including tax software, ERP platforms, hardware, application development, and related internal control practices to ensure compliance with information management-related policies and procedures
• The ideal candidate should have a good Tax IT background in the indirect tax area (e.g. VAT, GST, S&U and WHT) combined with a solid track record of participation in Tax related IT projects; project management; process design; detailed execution; and working with tax professionals and other information technology (IT) experts.
• The IT&P Tax Service Delivery Lead can translate “tax needs” into “IT speak”, liaising with our colleagues at regional and global level, fully understanding our Indirect Tax Systems and organization. The IT&P Finance-Tax Service Delivery Lead will be responsible for working with IT, Tax and business partners and other stakeholders to define requirements under various indirect tax matters, supporting the related tax systems and processes.
• 8+ years tax / accounting experience with significant Tax IT roles / responsibilities

Key Responsibilities on Other Areas:

Service Management

• Responsible for integrated incident and problem management. Lead incident response/resolution efforts within service delivery for incidents impacting the Finance application portfolio
• Responsible for communications and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders impacted, or potentially impacted, by service disruption, additions, changes, and/or reductions in service
• Responsible for service delivery decisions made to ensure application service level targets are met or exceeded
• Responsible for driving continuous improvements and innovation in Taxation and Finance areas
• Responsible for 24x7 ,365 days support

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Skills, Education and Experience:

• Overall, 10+ years of Sabrix / One Source Determination functional system configuration and consulting experience in all SAP Finance areas
• Finance Integration understanding with various SAP and Non-SAP Modules and their E2E data flow including taxation.
• Basic understanding of SAP Finance and Controlling submodules
• Managing and supporting Finance Month End close activities in SAP environment Globally.
• Strong understanding of various SDLC, Agile methodologies
• Experience working with Vendors, SLAs, product roadmaps, and support lifecycles.
• ITIL certifications preferred.
• Understanding & experience in Automation/ digitalization is an added advantage.
• Desired qualification – CA/ICWA or Premier school MBA. Minimum- bachelor’s degree
