Your Role
The Regulatory Law team supports Blue Shield’s Healthcare Solutions business team. The Associate General Counsel is a Senior Director position within the Regulatory Law Department and will report to the Managing Associate General Counsel. In this role you will primarily be supporting the Pharmacy business of Blue Shield of California with its regulatory and contractual business requirements. You will be assisting and counseling on negotiation, execution and implementation of Pharmacy service agreements for the health plan. You will work directly with the Vice President of Pharmacy operations and the supporting team. You will be the legal advisor for the Pharmacy team for new initiatives and proposals and will be a legal counselor for pharmacy and other health plan operations.
