How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Technical execution of protection systems for FACTS, Synchronous Condenser and substation projects
  • Generate design specifications and design hard- and software for protection systems
  • Make dimensioning reports for VTs and CTs and protection coordination studies
  • Execute functional performance and customer acceptance tests in our test center at Erlangen
  • Commission our plants in Germany and abroad
  • Develop and implement technical solutions in an international expert team

What You Bring

  • University degree in electrical engineering or in power automation
  • Good knowledge about FACTS, substations and synchronous Condensers
  • Experience in power transmission systems (medium and high voltage) and the associated secondary systems
  • Experience with engineering, testing and commissioning of protection systems, ideally SIPROTEC family
  • Willingness to undertake worldwide business trips (approx. 30% of your time)
  • Very good English language skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for result-oriented and creative development of our projects, focus on high quality execution of our solutions.
