Role overview 

The Projects Planner is responsible for the assignment of online survey projects for the North American programming department. She/ he ensures project materials, budgeted labor hours, and programming schedules are well-prepared for programmers to begin execution without compromise to quality and speed of turnaround. She/ he communicates with Project Managers, Programming Managers, as well as other various department team members, when necessary. 

What will I be doing? 

• Ensures the collection of all the necessary information and materials for starting the project
• Contributes to estimating the complexity of projects and setting deadlines
• Ensures the allocation of projects, in accordance with their specifications and requirements
• Ensures a balanced workload between teams, according to the objectives (use)
• Is responsible for achieving the individual objectives set by the direct manager, contributing to the organization’s objectives
• Effectively uses all allocation tools (Team Admin, Dimensions, NextWorkBench, iTime, etc.)
• Collects feedback from the teams in the department, analyzes it and proposes actions to improve the allocation system
• Provides support and collaborates with the department's teams in order to ensure quality at the allocation level (process, application, responsibilities)
• Provides assistance to the project management team and facilitates its communication with the programming teams in the case of complex projects and their completion times
• Plans work activities (daily), report work times, send reports to the manager (study analyses), participate in meetings (team, information, feedback), participate in professional development activities (training, coaching) at direct manager request
• Requests assistance from the support departments (helpdesk), provides administrative feedback (to the support department)
• The method of sending the feedback will be a standardized one with all the details present so that the teams they work with will be able to continue working on the project

What do I need to bring with me? 

• Market Research knowledge: methodology, terminology, concepts and principles
• Advanced computer operations (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Average knowledge of programming languages is a plus
• The Projects Planner works in a fast-paced environment and must be able to work well under pressure
• Detail-oriented
• Organized
• Strong communicator
• Advanced English, both oral and written, is a must
• The ability to analyze and synthesize
• Ability to propose new solutions
