Responsible for ensuring successful performance for Demand and Supply Planning activities including statistical modeling and scenario analysis integrating market intelligence factors affecting the forecast following standard process defined and tools available to assure an accurate demand signal to Supply Planning function; identify and improve forecast variances, ensuring targeted service level and forecast metrics as well as assuring proper supply for the SKU portfolio assigned throughout proactive efforts to connect, collaborate and communicate with affiliates, supply sites and intercompany operations in order to deliver a high standard of supply chain execution while mitigating supply risk and implementing best practices.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

Demand Planning

  • Prepare a 12-month calendar for Demand and S&OP Meetings and support in attendance following up.
  • Support Demand Manager in leadership of BFRM with each BU, ensuring preparation of all required information and analysis. Generate statistical data for group discussion and analysis within the group. Applicable for Trade and Institutional channels.
  • Extensive analysis and preparation of all historical demand data from the system and generate statistical forecast based on system modeling, considering internal/external events that can impact future demand.
  • Prepare analysis for proposed “final” sales forecast to be discussed with Demand Manager and presented during consensus meeting with a horizon of 36 months.
  • Ensure the consensus forecast is reflected on time in Supply systems and they are updated with latest agreed forecast consensus version.
  • Participate in S&OP plant – Market for Key Brands to be aware of the supply situation of those brands and consider it in DP analysis.
  • Support Demand Manager in Market S&OP Meeting preparation.
  • Prepare minute notes of BFRM and S&OP meetings and Following up on actions defined.
  • Monitor the achievement of targets of KPI’s in place (FE).
  • Responsible to develop new products introduction and support launches of new molecules as required for the portfolio assigned.
  • Ensure alignment in $ and units through S&OP process.
  • Drive Forecast Accuracy and root cause analysis.
  • Prioritize demand as required in constrained situations and escalate supply risks to Commercial Supply Chain

Supply Planning

  • Ensure supply continuity according to the customer requirements.
  • Manage and balance finished goods supply and inventory levels for each product line.
  • Provide visibility to the end-to-end supply chain functions.
  • Identify supply risks and support mitigation and resolution plans.
  • Provide stakeholders with the clearest supply outlook.
  • Identify obsolescence risks and support mitigation and resolution plans.

PCM

  • Execute market activities related to Product lifecycle and changes.
  • Support market activities related to market/regional/global improvement initiatives.

Basic qualifications for this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, business, mathematics/statistics or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years progressive experience working in a Pharmaceutical industry or Consumer business.
  • Strong PC skills required (MS Office Suite, especially Excel).
  • Three years’ experience in a Demand/Supply related field with desired experience in Statistical modeling, forecasting and simulation systems and tools.
  • Experience participating in S&OP and DP processes.
  • Motivated individual with strong self-directed capabilities as well as strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, data-processing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Ability to negotiate and secure cooperation across multiple roles and functions towards specific objectives.
  • Analytical & Process oriented thinking and mindset. OE tools and methodologies knowledge a plus.
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish.
  • Leadership skill: negotiation, oriented to results, teamwork, customer focus, interpersonal relationships, holistic mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree / Postgraduate studies.
  • Lean or Six Sigma Training.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Expertise in use and leveraging of ERP systems and reporting tools.
  • Oral and written communication skills to present complex issues, providing adequate level of information required at different levels and for different stakeholders.
