POSITION SUMMARY

The role of the Hybrid Social Media Manager is to build, analyze and support paid social campaigns while also supporting audience targeting, investment by platform, and measurement Indicators. The Hybrid Social Media Manager will have experience with social and using several ad types and objectives to improve results. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT CONTENT CREATION OR ORGANIC POSTING POSITION. MAIN ESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will be a member of the client team to understand goals and translate them into a paid social media strategy across all platforms and devices.
  • Partner with Media Planning, Social Strategy, and Strategy & Analytics groups to understand the role of paid social within the larger paid media campaign, as well as the organic social strategy.
  • You will run paid media in API partner platforms and directly in social platforms. Responsible for campaign setup, trafficking, ongoing optimization, and reporting that meets client goals.
  • Stay up to date on new ad products and technology advancements, understanding how to translate them to meet our goals and how they work with your media plan.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the capabilities of API partners and be able to test and apply them to client/campaign objectives. Foster relationships with current platform partners to help influence product roadmaps based on specific client needs.
  • Partner with Strategy & Analytics team to use real-time data, testing, and campaign learnings to improve campaigns. Collect insights to share back with internal and client teams.
  • Use planning tools within platforms to inform budgets, bid strategies, and target audiences.
  • You will communicate for our teams and directly to clients regarding campaign performance, recommendations and expected deliverables.
  • Help train junior team members.
  • Actualize and claim spend on the monthly basis and work with the finance team on delivering invoices when needed.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of direct social media experience required; experience working in a media planning or buying position at an advertising or media agency preferred. 
  • Hands-on experience working in self-service capacity within social platforms. Candidate will have experience working in Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, or LinkedIn.
  • Collaboration skills; experience working with different teams
  • Effective at project management and ability to re-prioritize.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
  • The ability to present to clients, and talk about the role of social media
  • Understanding of fundamental media metrics and calculations (CTR, CPC, CPM, CPA)
  • Be a team player and work as part of a team
  • Experience working with large datasets and performing quantitative analysis. 

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $46,500 - $67,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
