ECS is seeking a Junior Management Consultant to work in our Bethesda, MD office.

Job Description:

ECS is currently seeking a full-time Administrative Support Professional to provide onsite support at our Bethesda, MD site. Please note, this role is temporarily remote due to COVID-19; on-site support will resume January 2023.This candidate will support ECS's clients at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI). The candidate will provide support to executive-level NHLBI clients for various administrative functions including but not limited to:

  • Providing logistics support for meetings.
  • Schedule coordination, conference room coordination, booking teleconference lines.
  • Sending out meeting invites, meeting timekeeping, recording, distributing and archiving meeting minutes, developing agenda topics, PowerPoint presentations, and meeting read-ahead's.
  • Organizing and managing tasks and data calls in support of executive-level programs.
  • Developing, managing and maintaining action item trackers and providing regular follow up for status updates to action item owners.
  • Supporting NHLBI staff for payroll, time and attendance processing.
  • Supporting NHLBI staff by serving as a SME on Leave, AWS and Telework Policy.
  • Supporting NLHBI staff with ordering of office supplies.
  • Completing general clerical and office tasks.
  • Performs other tasks as needed/requested.

Required Skills:

  • High proficiency level with MS Office Suite including Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including reports and presentations.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and diverse environment.
  • Ability to build and manage client relationships at all levels.
  • Public trust security clearance.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of (Client approval).
  • Previous experience at that National Institutes of Health.
  • Min 1 year of professional experience in corporate/federal environment.
