Join the team and drive business growth across Asia Pacific by building and enhancing a suite of market leading cross border payments solutions!

As a Vice President – Market and Product Expansion in the Cross Currency Solutions team, you will be responsible for managing and growing our cross currency solutions business in Asia Pacific. The role is focused on both the day to day management of our existing solutions and markets, as well as developing and executing on a regional product strategy / roadmap to support ongoing growth and delivery customer excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Become a subject-matter expert on the operational processes and systems that support our transactional FX services day to day, with particular attention to the nuances that exist in your Asian markets of responsibility
  • Engage relationship teams and local product teams to capture new business led or regulatory driven requirements, ensuring details business requirements and robust business cases are in place to support any development discussion. 
  • Align with global Cross Border Payments organisation to support all new product go-to-market activity e.g. lead generation, sales enablement, product positioning
  • Own the delivery of the product road map for your markets with 100% accountability for the revenue results 
  • Lead internal pipeline discussions to help identify commercialisation opportunities and ensure you, as the Product Manager, are supporting client discussions.
  • Monitor portfolio performance by identifying, reporting and addressing declining activity 
  • Monitor pipeline performance and engage Sales and Implementation to ensure a positive initial client experience

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 10 years or more working experience in a financial institution or payments company, with strong experience in Product Management. 
  • Working understanding of product design thinking and agile development methodology
  • Candidate must have strong knowledge of bank product controls, risk management and an understanding of business operations
  • Demonstrated experience managing through influence, collaborating with multiple teams, coordinating across different cross-functional initiatives, and reaching consensus with diverse stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly with senior management for planning and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of the cross border payments landscape in APAC & current trends
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent understanding of both existing and new technology used to move money around the world, and the participants involved in the end-to-end cross border payments workflow 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in an FX execution, and or settlement environment
  • Strong understanding of the restricted currency markets in APAC and the additional considerations they represent when developing cross border FX solutions
