Product Manager, Senior Staff (Security AI & Analytics)

We’re seeking a highly motivated Product Line Manager (PLM) to join our Network Security Product Management Team. This position is responsible for our AI security features, network security analytics and our SIEM, SOAR and XDR product lines.

These solutions are a critical contributor to our highly competitive line of network security offerings. This position provides the opportunity to deliver innovative and differentiated security features and solutions.

This position will have broad responsibility for continuing the development of our network security AI native features and functionality, as well as continue to provide innovative ways to use analytics currently collected. This position is also responsible for maintaining and increase adoption of our SIEM, SOAR and XDR product lines. The candidate must have proven ability and record to drive product requirements for complex and dynamic network security space, engage with strategic customers, work with vendors and partners, drive market requirement from definition to delivery, and effectively interface with product marketing, product development/engineering, manufacturing, operations and finance.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a strategy to build and grow our network security solution through the use of AI and analytics 
  • Drive thought leadership, strategy, and market-leadership around our network security solutions through the use of AI, analytics, SIEM, SOAR and XDR solutions
  • Understanding of the technical, ethical, and user experience challenges and opportunities of generative AI systems and models.
  • Knowledge of the latest LLM models in the market and their applications in various industries.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a deep understanding of the technical aspects of conversational platform and generative AI capabilities
  • Create and execute a strategy to build and grow our SIEM, SOAR and XDR product lines
  • Responsible for quarterly/annual revenue and margin targets
  • Contribute to our quarterly business reviews
  • Maximize ROI using the build, buy and partner ecosystem 
  • Full lifecycle Product Management role (including inbound and outbound functions)
  • Business (Revenue and Customer) growth along with improving mind share 
  • Develop roadmaps, outline product requirements, and oversee the management of requirements backlog.
  • Execute design programs to validate novel product concepts through customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to implement cutting-edge solutions.
  • Support marketing and sales teams via product training and in depth market analysis 
  • Work closely with customer success and field organizations to ensure customer satisfaction.

Experience/Skills

  • 7+ years’ experience working as a senior product manager building and working on security, AI, analytics, SIEM, SOAR, XDR and/or threat management products
  • Must have a background in creating and executing a strategy that delivers security products to the market successfully.
  • Must have experience with revenue responsibility. 
  • Well versed in the Security Market with trends, customer deployment models, monetization models and technologies to deliver industry leading AI features and functionality
  • Well versed in SASE/SSE framework 
  • Good understanding and experience to drive full lifecycle Product Management for at least 5+ years 
  • Must be able to define hardware and software product requirements, author business plans, prioritize features and track progress. In depth knowledge of AI, analytics, SIEM, SOAR, XDR solutions and how they apply to networking, firewalls, security services such as IPS, IDP, Web filtering, Anti-virus, Advanced Threat Protection, Anti-malware, usability, and software/hardware management is extremely valued. 
  • Must also be adept at forecasting, pricing, positioning and managing product transitions.
  • Excellent critical thinking skillset
  • Excellent analytical analysis skillset
  • Excellent presenter, great 360-degree collaboration and influence skills, high-energy personality to break barriers and drive an emerging portfolio 
  • Good understanding about security solution integration with automation frameworks 
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities to effectively influence and engage with management at all organizational levels.

Education:

  • Bachelors / Master’s degree with 7 years’ experience in enterprise networking, AI, analytics, SIEM, SOAR, XDR and/or security solutions and working with software/hardware security products

Other:

  • Travel is required for this position. 
  • This position is based in Sunnyvale, California and has a requirement for the individual to be based locally.
  • Must work from the office 2-3 days a week. 
  • Must have the ability to physically host and attend in-office meetings as needed.

Minimum Salary: $179,200.00

Maximum Salary:$257,600.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $179,200.00 and $257,600.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
