We are looking for an Assistant Vice President, Marketing (Hong Kong) based at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong!

As an Assistant Vice President, Marketing (Hong Kong), we rely on you to:

  • Support the Senior Vice President and function as COE to work closely with the business leaders of the HK properties to drive commercial performance and strengthen our brands in Hong Kong
  • Develop marketing plan and strategies that resonate with key source market needs and implement consolidated marketing plans focused on delivering tactical campaigns, brand awareness campaigns, social innovation and digital optimization, brand amplification, loyalty program activation and restaurant & bar marketing
  • Monitor and streamline campaigns and projects across Hong Kong hotels for maximum budgetary efficiency and determine ROI
  • Coordinate with global teams and regional marketing leaders to ensure alignment of efforts and synchronization in scheduling of campaigns when required
  • Support B2B marketing efforts to grow business from and within the region
  • Identify potential strategic partnerships that either support or strengthen the brand positioning, generate revenues for the hotels and/or give us access to new, high value loyalty members and customers
  • Identify and lead relationships with preferred marketing agencies in the area (digital, experiential etc.) acting as the day-to-day contact
  • Oversee the production and execution of all hotels photography, printed and digital collateral and ensure compliance to brand standards and guidelines as stipulated in the Corporate ID Manual

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing Management, Business Studies and Communications or related discipline
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in hospitality or multi-national companies at managerial level and proved track record in e-commerce, with experience of implementing end-to-end campaigns with demonstrable ROI
  • Proven ability to lead the multiple teams to achieve market penetration and direct revenue results
  • Experience working with senior business leaders at the regional / local level, as well as a multi-cultural team
  • Strong commitment to the highest standards of performance within time and budget constraints.
  • Strong analytical skills with business acumen
  • Proficient in computer applications
  • Excellent command in both verbal and written communication in English and Chinese
