The Role

An opportunity has arisen within the Sales department at Digidentity for an Account Manager focused on expanding the company’s footprint in The Netherlands. We require a proactive individual with a proven track record in sales, ideally from a technology background.

Given the accelerating digitization of businesses around the world, we are seeing great interest for these solutions in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Health Care, Legal Services, etc.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, results driven and independent, used to working in sales roles targeting mid-sized companies or local government organisations. The overriding objective is to grow our market share for our Digital Identity and Electronic Signature solutions.

The successful candidate must be able to work to targets whilst remaining flexible to the needs of the business. They must be able to demonstrate a proactive attitude and always take the initiative in ensuring outputs are delivered.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the principal interface for prospects and selected customers in The Netherlands;
  • Own and manage a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities with a principal focus on new customer acquisition;
  • Perform white-spot analysis for prospective customer segments, translate the outcomes into sales plans and execute successfully;
  • Prepare and maintain account plans for key prospects and large existing customers and develop strong working relationships with them;
  • Ensure all (prospective) customer data is captured and kept up-to-date in our CRM system;
  • Achieve and consistently exceed quarterly revenue goals;
  • Work with Legal, Customer Success, Implementation Support and Finance colleagues to ensure timely delivery of services and implementation of contracts;
  • Work with Marketing on content creation and go to market strategies;
  • Act as the ‘voice of the customer’ when working with Product Management to ensure our product roadmaps are closely aligned to customer needs and market developments.

What You’ll Bring

  • Interest in the Identity industry;
  • Experience in selling IT solutions using sales management frameworks;
  • Understanding of digitising analogue workflows;
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a sales driven and target hitting role;
  • A positive, ‘Can Do’ mindset;
  • Ambition, high energy and enthusiasm;
  • Curiosity and a proactive mindset that enables you to thrive in a pressurised, output focused environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
