The Talent Strategies Team at BJC HealthCare provides a full range of talent acquisition and recruitment support activities for BJC HealthCare across 15 hospitals and community health locations. By acting as a strategic resource for BJC hiring leaders and building strong relationships with internal and external customers, applicants and candidates, the Talent Strategies Team consultants and advises on best practices for bringing talent into the organization, supporting candidates through the hiring process and delivering an optimal candidate experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Lead, mentor & develop recruiting teams in executing proactive talent acquisition strategies to source, screen, select and onboard high quality, diverse talent across multiple healthcare service organizations. Plan, design, and direct recruitment processes and programs with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement. Maintain strong consultative partnerships and relationships with managers and leaders systemwide.

Responsibilities

Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.

Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.

Partners with multiple hospital leaders in developing strategic initiatives to meet talent levels that support current and projected needs.

Develops and implements talent acquisition processes, and creates innovative programs to attract talent.

Formulates strategic talent acquisition plans to meet system needs. Achieves employee hiring goals including metrics for hiring rates, time to fill rate and other specific accountabilities.

Represents the BJC employer brand internally and externally as a thought leader and talent ambassador through participation in outreach events, career fairs, and activities pertaining to talent attraction.

Creates and manages future staffing projections.
