The Creative Designer team will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of TikTok LIVE in MENA. They will be instrumental in supporting various visual design aspects of LIVE operations, ensuring consistency and high-quality output in all design elements. The candidate will be a key liaison between the local and central design teams, contributing to the overall operation strategy and design ideation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Creative Designer to join the TikTok LIVE design team. The candidate will work closely with our diverse team of operation managers and designers globally.

  • Collaborate with the central design team to create, define, and maintain a style guide for TikTok LIVE in the middle east area.
  • Support MENA TikTok LIVE operation visual design, including promotion campaigns, email templates and design, LIVE stickers, physical swag rewards, Live host education, and new product feature launch materials, etc.
  • Work closely with the local operation team and global design team to drive operation strategy, concept design ideation, and asset production.
  • Ensure excellent attention to detail and ability to proof-check your own work, with a passion for big ideas and an eye for small details.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of creative, design, and product operation processes. Must have proof of successful cases on operation design projects in the portfolio.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of middle east culture and design preferences.
  • Highly creative, organized, and able to work independently with little direction; ability to multitask. Independently finish the design and execution of various creative projects, ensuring high-quality visual outputs that align with guidelines.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic, with great communication skills and a collaborative team player in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in overseas study or design work.
  • Familiarity with 3D software or motion effects, professional user research skills, and complex project management abilities.
  • Experience and enthusiasm in the livestreaming industry, familiar with TikTok.
  • Enthusiasm for a fast-growing, fast-changing environment.
