Media.Monks Amsterdam is looking for a Senior Account Manager for the world’s biggest sports brand, with solid knowledge of the Digital Creative industry. Someone who knows how to steward business relationships at the intersection of creativity and technology.

Now, about the opportunity: As Senior Account Manager you’re experienced in all aspects of the agency's efforts to deliver creative marketing initiatives for clients. You will be responsible for going beyond the day-to-day of driving projects through the agency and ensure that we are delivering coordinated, on-strategy work across our clients’ programs. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who quickly jumps on new opportunities, gets nerdy about what they do and works fast and flexibly to get the job done. Humility and collaboration are also a big part of their DNA. This is a fast-paced work environment, so attentiveness and the ability to handle multiple projects with ease are a must. The ideal candidate will also have both agency and client side experience.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Oversees account and executes projects with extreme attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Supports our agency account leadership team as they plan and execute a global account plan
  • Helps drive program-level project management with extreme detail to ensure deliverables are produced on time, on budget, and to client’s specifications
  • You Act as a true partner to our clients, staying close throughout projects & beyond
  • Writes creative briefs, coordinates schedules, creates budget estimates together with producers and tracks financial logistics
  • Demonstrates excellent time management and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Maintains excellent written and verbal communication with all parties
  • Builds and retains key relationships clients, helping to spot opportunities and grow the business across EMEA

Requirements

  • 4 - 5+ years in marketing communications and digital marketing, preferably with sports brands
  • Strong grasp of agency logistics and processes, and the ability to anticipate impacts and changes
  • Excellent ability to multitask and stay abreast of multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High energy, structured, detail oriented person, with a go-getter, positive attitude; comfortable working autonomously and within groups
  • Experience working directly with clients to build strong relationships and create a positive experience that helps meet client's business expectations and needs
  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation-related communication skills around project planning and status, roadblocks and, when needed, alternate courses of action
  • Proficient with Google for Work products (slides, sheets etc)
  • Fluent in both written and spoken english
  • Sports is in your DNA and you understand the ethos and drive of the world’s biggest sports brand
