Job Overview:

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and support the resources and projects aligned to the RES SBU including, but not limited to, Emergency Response, and Engineering & Construction scope of work. Responsible for setting the tone, direction and path forward for the Supply Chain resources in Procurement and Subcontracts in charting the most effective path in support of project execution. Represent Supply Chain across the business internally by driving best practices and processes, ensuring company and Federal compliance, and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle supply chain including source selection, negotiating, issuing orders, team management, tracking, reporting, and maintaining responsibility as single point of contact
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and managerial competencies, including integrity, accountability, communication skills and commitment to teamwork and excellence in responsibilities such as selecting, mentoring, coaching, supervising, motivating and training supply chain staff.
  • Assist in the development of processes, policies, procedures and forms for the applicable scopes of work and to ensure the success of the Supply Chain organization and in compliance with all company and Federal requirements
  • Strong resource and lead for Supply Chain support on proposals and business development efforts
  • Assist the Director of Supply Chain to organize the team appropriately, in order to utilize the appropriate resources with the necessary skillsets to perform effectively, while meeting utilization goals
  • Manage and monitor the Federal Supply Chain team's performance by creating key metrics and reports and assess/review performance on regular basis
  • Lead communications and build relationships with key functions across the company such as Finance, Legal, Estimating, Operations, Business Development and others
  • Be the primary contact for key Project/Program Management personnel
  • Collaborate around inter-departmental process improvement initiatives
  • Source, compete, negotiate and award Complex Subcontracts/Procurements, Master Service Agreements and Strategic Alliances with vendors
  • Perform supplier relationship management at a national level, which includes monitoring supplier performance and obtaining customer feedback.
  • Track and report savings per the specified format, on a recurring and ongoing basis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven and significant experience (10-15 years) in the end-to-end Supply Chain function, across various business sectors and industries
  • Extensive working knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of government procurement regulations, contract documents, and legal specifications.
  • Self-driven individual possessing the capability to participate in setting long term strategic goals and plans for the business and driving the team in day-to-day tactical activities, to achieve said goals
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with typical industrial and project materials, equipment and services
  • Experience with developing interfaces between multiple legacy business systems to derive overall supply chain functionality to enable strategic decisions
  • Experience in the development of requirements for work processes and tools to improve execution and fulfilment
  • Experience with DCMA or DCAA audits a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative work style.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards.
