Job Purpose:

The Retail People Excellence Manager plays a key role in developing and engaging our Talents in Fashion Boutique and drive advocacy to the Brand.

Partnering with HR, he/she will contribute to crafting an inspiring employee experience journey : Hire, Engage, Inspire. He/She will be responsible for the perfect development and execution of Asia Fashion Retail People Strategy in all markets..

Key Responsibilities:

People@Retail advocacy roadmap

  • Define the 3Y Fashion Retail People Advocacy roadmap for Asia.
  • Oversee the yearly Strategic Cycle related to People Excellence : Global direction debrief, Regional Plan definition, Local Strategic Plan alignment and guidance. Ensure solid planning and resources as well as sponsorship of key stakeholders.
  • Revamp the governance and the collaboration with markets and with divisional and corporate partners.

More specifically : Lead Incentives Scheme Analytics and Design revamp : market learnings, regional framework, payout analytics

People Practices in Boutique

  • Ensure the Boutique Organization by markets are aligned with regional principles : drive the necessary audit, organize key stakeholders discussion and alignment, socialize and engage HRxRetail teams and lead perfect implementation.
  • Advocate for Fashion in innovative projects such as Workforce Planning Management: operating model, tools, 360 KPIs

People related KPIs

  • Owns the Retail People KPIs ecosystem : formulate and analyze the relevant retail metrics (turnover, vacancy..)
  • Engage and stimulate local markets to consolidate insights and action plan, in partnership with HR and Learning team

More specifically drive strategic initiatives : such as the yearly Break Through Objective definition and achievement

People Expertise community

  • Plays a key role in elevating the Fashion Retail people-centric mindset and understanding of the Brand vision and priorities in terms of People@Retail.
  • Establish a strong RetailxHRxL&D partnership and committee across markets through monthly and quarterly meetings. Optimize communication and qualitative input from markets (survey, best practice sharing,..)
  • Overall, builds a strong knowledge and feedback pipeline to frontline teams, and client feedback
  • Key referral on People@Retail projects and strong partner to stakeholders : corporate TDS and HR, across markets, and globally.

More specifically :

  • organizes the yearly People@retail Asia summit
  • builds the Retail@Chanel platform

Requirements:

Work Experience

  • 10-15 years in Retail and/or HR/talent development
  • Project Management
  • Internal consultant / Strategic planning
