You will manage media inquiries, develop compelling content, and provide media relations guidance to stakeholders throughout the business.

Your responsibilities will include working hand in hand with PR and marketing colleagues to execute proactive media outreach strategies, with a focus on building, maintaining, and protecting Arup’s reputation. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for journalists, co-managing a busy press office inbox, ensuring timely and professional responses to enquiries and proactively engaging with media. From writing about the benefits of mobility hubs, to sharing insights from a fire engineer to announcing completion of a sports stadium, crafting compelling content will be second nature to you, as you develop press releases, media pitches, opinion pieces, quotes, and more, all aimed at capturing attention and driving engagement.

At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive. Our strength comes from how we respect, share and connect our diverse experiences, perspectives and ideas.

You will have the opportunity do socially useful work that has meaning – to Arup, to your career, to our members and to the clients and communities we serve.

Is this role right for you?

If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and possess exceptional communication skills coupled with a passion for strategic media relations, we invite you to join our team.
