ABOUT THE ROLE

The ideal Design Architect should be highly knowledgeable in all architectural design concepts and he should be able to lead design team through multi phase project development cycle.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Key Responsibilities -

  • Incorporate business and communication objectives in strategic design solutions.
  • Generate conceptual design and provide full design support throughout project.
  • Effectively present ideas to clients, communicate project status, and build client relationships.
  • Generate all architectural design concepts for exterior building projects, including interpreting, organizing, and coordinating exterior design assignments.
  • Use appropriate concepts and approaches in design of large or multiple projects.
  • Participate in and facilitate client meetings, communicate project status, and build client relationships. Lead key meetings and presentations.
  • Ensure all design deliverables meet internal and external project requirements, including time, budget, and scope.
  • Develop, represent, and lead design viewpoints on projects.
  • Act as liaison with project manager and project architects.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, mitigate and resolve project-related issues.
  • Work effectively with architects, engineers and consultants.
  • Develop new or improved techniques or design.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on specific components of exterior design.
  • Assist Project Manager in reviewing project performance.
  • Provide constructive feedback and mentoring to project team members and provide leadership to design team.
  • Perform overtime work and travel, including field sites if appropriate.
  • May perform other responsibilities as needed.

ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor or Master of Architecture.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience working on mid to large scale projects is required.
  • Strong creative design portfolio and strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills as well as the ability to handle multiple projects required.
  • Proficiency in Revit a must.
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, Adobe software, Microsoft Office.
